This is a 20W 500-7300MHz No-signal-sourcue Ultrawideband Power Amplifier. It plays a crucial role in power dispatching and line protection within the system. While it doesn't provide gain itself, it can precisely attenuate, match, or isolate high-power signals up to 20W within an ultrawide bandwidth of 500 MHz-7.3 GHz.
This 20W 500-7300 MHz power amplifier chip covers 500-7300 MHz, simultaneously covering L, S, C, and part of the X bands, enabling multiple uses in one chip. This reduces the number of frequency-splitter components, thus compressing the size and saving costs. It facilitates switching between interference bands, eliminating the need for external signal sources and antennas. A single broadband chip can handle interference from low frequencies, conventional bands, to high frequencies.
In a broadband transceiver link, it backs up the 20W drive power exceeding the limit of the preceding stage to a level that the subsequent chip can handle, preventing the subsequent LNA/mixer from being compressed or burned out. Withstands instantaneous power ≥ 20 W. When reflected power occurs due to antenna mismatch or open circuit in the subsequent stage, this 500-7300 MHz 20W power amplifier absorbs/attenuates the reflected energy to protect the power transistors in the preceding stage.
This power amplifier, inserted between two power amplifier stages, can reduce return loss by 3-6 dB, reduce inter-stage reflections, suppress self-oscillation, and improve inter-stage isolation.
